Abolfazl Bazghandi ("we", "our", or "us") developed the Bale Unread Monitor Chrome Extension as a privacy-first productivity tool. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is accessed, used, and protected when you use our extension.

To provide its core functionality, the extension accesses the following data:

  • Authentication Information: Your Telegram Bot Token and Chat ID, which you manually provide in the extension's popup.
  • Personal Communications: The unread message counts, sender names, and message previews displayed directly on your active Bale web client (web.bale.ai).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is strictly used for the single purpose of the extension:

  • Your Telegram Bot Token and Chat ID are used to authenticate and route messages to your personal Telegram account.
  • Your Bale message previews are read from the active webpage and forwarded as a notification payload.
Strict Usage Guarantee: We do not use your data for analytics, marketing, creditworthiness, or any other unrelated purposes. We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third parties under any circumstances.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Transit

  • Local Storage Only: Your Authentication Information is stored strictly locally on your device using Google Chrome's secure chrome.storage.local API. We do not own, operate, or rent any external servers or databases.
  • Secure Transit: When a new message is detected, the extension sends an outbound HTTPS POST request directly to the official Telegram API (api.telegram.org). Your data is never routed through a middleman server.
  • Zero Developer Access: The developer of this extension has absolutely zero access to your tokens, chat logs, browser history, or personal information.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete and total control over it. You can delete your Authentication Information at any time by clearing the extension's storage in the popup menu, or by simply uninstalling the extension from your browser. Once uninstalled, all associated data is permanently erased from your machine. We retain no copies of your data.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will reflect the date of any changes.
